Translation:
During the period 1977–1981
I translated text books for primary and secondary schools for a number of
Norwegian publishing houses. Most of the translations were from Norwegian
Bokmål to Norwegian Nynorsk (in all about 5000 pages), but I have also
translated books from Swedish to Norwegian, and a number of texts from English
to Norwegian. During the same period I also worked as language consultant for
Norwegian publishing houses.
During the period 1982–2001
I translated some texts, in particular “terminology-intensive” texts and lists
of terms.
From 2002 I am again
involved in translation projects, although to a lesser extent than previously.
